The Australian duo got together after his contract and have been inseparable ever since.

She faces some stigma because of the different dates, but she maintains that they wouldn’t change anything.

Alexandra told us: “I would say the best thing about dating an older man is the perspective and experience he has, which has resulted in my own growth.

“Andrew is very calm and logical and that has helped me to have different perspectives on things. I can definitely see the impact he has had.

“There are many qualities I like about Andrew, but I can’t say whether it’s because of his personality or his age.

“He motivates me immensely in pursuing my own goals, I have learned new hobbies from him and I think he gives fantastic advice.

“I started studying and playing sports, both of which I enjoy, thanks to his encouragement to improve myself.”

She added: “One misconception I disagree with is that people get into relationships with older men for financial reasons and that there is a power imbalance.

“When I met him, I was working full-time and had already built my career.

I am 27 and my husband is 56, but people call me a sugar baby and claim I cheat. Yes, I am younger than his daughters, but who cares?

“It was a coincidence that he came here for a tattoo, so those misunderstandings don’t apply to us.

“I believe that age should not be a factor.

“I didn’t date Andrew because of his age, we just had strong chemistry and a connection.

“My advice is don’t look for someone your age. If something works, it works.

“Ultimately, I’m very happy in a relationship with a big age gap.

“I understand that it needs to be looked at critically, but it works for us.

“We understand each other very well and I think that our differences, whether or not they are due to the age difference, complement each other perfectly.”
