Princess Eugenie looks radiant in an olive pleated dress and a cream fascinator as she joins Prince William at the Duke of Westminster’s society wedding of the year to Olivia Henson

Princess Eugenie put on an elegant display today as she attended the Duke of Westminster’s Wedding of the Year to Olivia Henson.

The King’s niece, 34, looked radiant in an olive-colored pleated dress as she arrived at Chester Cathedral this morning for the wedding of friends Hugh Grosvenor and Olivia.

She was pictured arriving with some of the 400 guests invited to today’s celebration. Mother-of-two Eugenie, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York, paired her stunning V-neck dress with a chic cream fascinator.

She’s not the only member of the British Royal Family attending the wedding; Prince William, 41, was also spotted before fulfilling his role as an usher at the service.

The 7th Duke of Westminster, 33, commonly known as ‘Hughie’ to aristocratic friends, is estimated to be worth £10.42 billion, making him the richest man under the age of 40 in Britain.

He is the godfather of Prince William’s son, Prince George, and Prince Harry’s son Archie. Harry will not be attending the wedding today.

Hugh will marry Olivia, 31, at the 11th-century cathedral in Cheshire at around midday, with guests from all over the world. But the Princess of Wales, who was in the spotlight as she underwent preventive chemotherapy, is not expected to attend.

Eugenie appeared to attend the event alone, without her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two children August, three, and Ernest, four.

To add a touch of glitter to her ensemble, the royal wore a dainty necklace and gold hoop earrings while sporting a glamorous makeup look.

Bride Olivia, who like the Princess of Wales and Princess Eugenie attended Marlborough College, is a senior account manager at Belazu, an eco-friendly company that imports sustainable, chef-quality ingredients.

Hugh has increasingly begun initiating various environmentally friendly practices, including renewable energy projects, green building codes, and biodiversity conservation efforts.

It will likely be a green event, as both Hugh and Olivia are environmentally conscious, and it is understood that flowers used at the ceremony and reception will be pressed afterwards and made into sustainable works of art, rather than simply thrown away.

Shortly before 11am, coaches and minibuses full of excited guests arrived and entered the side door of the cathedral.

As they rounded the corner, many smiled and waved back to the crowds lining the streets, cheering their arrival.

William, dressed like others in morning suits, smiled as he exited a black minivan to drive towards the building.

Guests joined the long line that crept into the cathedral, waiting to be led to their seats by Prince William and the other ushers.

Harry, who was expected to attend today’s service, has chosen to remain in California.

Miss Henson arrives at the cathedral just before midday in a vintage 1930 8-litre Bentley owned by the Grosvenor estate.

After the ceremony ends around 1pm, guests can enjoy a lavish reception with a lemon wedding cake at the Grosvenor family seat, Eaton Hall, just outside Chester.

The Duke will provide free ice cream, gelato and sorbet for Cheshire residents at three local, independent cafes so they can take part in the celebrations.

Photos from this morning show excited royal fans forming outside the cathedral ahead of the Church of England ceremony starting at midday.
