CNN Anchor Jake Tapper speculated that Joe Biden may be secretly in a significant moment about the approach to the network of the new Trump administration.
Tapper made admission to the Correspondent of the New York Times and frequent Trump-Critic Maggie Haberman on Saturday, while the two discussed the President's promises about 'retribution' to his political enemies.
He played a Trump's segment on Thursday evening interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity where the president said that “the sad thing (Biden) did not give himself a grace. '
Trump suggested that he could insist on an investigation into Biden because 'it all had to do with him', so that Tapper Haberman asked: “Do you think the Ministry of Justice of Trump will investigate Biden?”
Haberman said it is “still to be seen,” and added: “You know, Trump is not the only person who has spoken a lot of indignation about some of that preventive grace, especially those for President Biden's own family members.”
Tapper continued speculating that “it is always possible for a president to forgive someone and not announce it,” which means that Biden may “end and we just don't know.”
While he made the suggestion, TUPPER acknowledged that the issue can be a dispute point thanks to the decision of the Republican -controlled Supreme Court that grant immunity to official presidential actions.
“So I don't know he had to, Mr Biden, given that there was this extensive immunity ruling by the American Supreme Court about Trump that now applies to Biden,” he said.
CNN Anchor Jake Tapper speculated that former President Joe Biden might have secretly increased in a significant moment about the approach of the network of the new Trump administration on Saturday
Tapper said that Biden might 'end and we just don't know', which is technically possible under the constitution, but has never been documented in American history
The issue of 'secret' presidential grace came under the spotlight four years ago after Trump lost the 2020 elections to Biden, because he also spent a number of grace of allies – but in particular not to himself or a family members.
At the moment it was speculated that Trump could have published secret grace that are technically possible but have never been documented in American history.
The clause in the Constitution that grants presidential grace powers does not prevent them from being secret.
However, there are no indications that neither Trump nor Biden have ever published secret grace, with some constitutional scholars claiming that the public nature of a grace makes them legally valid.
At the end of Biden's term of office, it was revealed that he was setting the record for most grace and sentence commutations in a single presidential term, except for the grace of Jimmy Carter for Dodgers in Vietnam in 1977.
Much grace of Biden led to indignation, in particular his radical grace for his son Hunter, despite the fact that he previously denied that he had plans to do so often.
And in one of his last deeds in the White House, Biden also published preventive grace for Dr. Anthony Fauci and all nine members of the committee of January 6, including frequent Trump Nemesis Liz Cheney.
In total, the 82-year-old 8,064 grace spent during his term of office, with 6,500 of those who came through a major grace for those convicted of the possession of marijuana.
In addition to the recently deceased former President Carter, whose concept of evasive pardons influenced more than 200,000 people – Biden has spent the most.
'Secret' Presidential Pardons made the headlines four years ago after Donald Trump lost the 2020 elections to Biden, because he also spent a number of grace of allies – but in particular not to himself or a family members
In one of the last performances by Biden as president, he made sure that it was angry by publishing preventive grace for Dr. Anthony Fauci (seen with Trump in April 2020)
The issue of presidential grace was sent back in the spotlight at the end of Biden's term of office when he set the record for most grace and sentence community in a single presidential period, except for the grace of Jimmy Carter for Vietnam Dodgers in 1977
In Saturday's interview with CNN's Tapper, Haberman noted that Biden's Pardon even surprised Liberals in Washington for his son Hunter.
“Many former Biden officials have been fairly surprised by people I spoke with,” she said.
Haberman added that although Biden has presidential immunity for official acts he has undertaken in the White House, Trump's comments to Hannity seemed to 'talk about activities that were taken before Biden was in office'.
“He seemed to refer to the efforts for making money by the Biden family prior to the presidency, and we will see if that will be a kind of investigation,” she said.
