A high school teacher from New York City is accused of doing himself a favor with his pants down during a virtual class session.
Robert Torres, a 48-year-old teacher at the Tottenville High School on Staten Island, was reportedly caught in front of the camera in November 2020 when he was guilty of explicit behavior that a fellow teacher left with horror.
According to a report from the special Commissioner for Research (SCI) of the city, Torres 'had his pants down and seemed to masturbate' during a Google Meet session.
The moving and disturbing moment is said to have been observed by another teacher, who “instinctively recorded the incident on his mobile phone.”
Fortunately, no students would have witnessed the disgusting act.
The shocking behavior would have taken place at a time when schools were closed because of the COVID-19 Pandemie and teachers throughout the city had switched to remote teaching.
On the relevant day, Torres, who earns a salary of $ 128,451, taught a virtual class class together with around 15 high school students.
After the students had canceled, the teachers had to stay online for another 30 minutes to answer any remaining questions.

It was during that period that Torres began to masturbate, the SCI report claims.
The fellow teacher, stunned by what they saw on their screen, documented the incident and reported this to the authorities.
The video certificate was then transferred to the NYPD, but no criminal prosecutions were submitted after researchers had established that no students were present during the alleged act.
Torres refused to be interviewed by the SCI and “did not offer the accusation not to refute,” the report states.
The Ministry of Education (DIY) has condemned the alleged behavior in the most powerful terms.
“Such behavior is outrageous and totally unacceptable,” said DIY spokeswoman Jenna Lyle.
Torres' was punished on the basis of a decision of an impartial arbitrator, “said Lyle.

Despite the shocking nature of the accusations, any disciplinary action against Torres remains unclear.
Although Lyle said that Torres was disciplined, the specific punishment, ranging from a fine to suspension, was not announced.
Torres is still mentioned as a teacher and dean at the Port Richmond High School on Staten Island, which raises questions about the transparency of disciplinary procedures within the DIY.
