NYT Strands Today (Contest #168) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands question, game #168, are…
- PAINT
- BRUSH
- CANVAS
- MOLD
- DONKEY
- PALETTE
- CHARCOAL
- SPANGRAM: ART CLASS
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: Perfect
Art is not my thing. I can appreciate it, sure, but if you’re going to ask me to draw or paint something, you better ask my dog. I’m terrible. As a result, this art-themed Strands puzzle from the NYT probably got me in more trouble than it otherwise would have.
There’s nothing particularly difficult about it, and I figured out the theme pretty quickly (after accidentally finding PAINT and BRUSH). However, I just couldn’t figure out what an artist would need beyond those two things. CANVAS was admittedly an easy one I eventually saw, but EASEL and PALETTE took me ages to figure out. Still, I wasn’t complaining – it’s good to get your brain working, and I figured it out eventually.
How was your day? Send me an email and let me know.
