Dramatic video shows a man from Florida who robs an 83-year-old woman in a violent way, just after she has collected the lottery profits.
The suspect Diego Tavarez Fleury, 24, was taken into custody after the incident outside of Buddy's Food and Lotto in Orlando.
On surveillance images you could see how Tavarez Fleury Ruth Monroe approached while she got into the car and how he tried to take her win before he was confronted with the store manager.
Monroe said to the local NBC branch Wesh: 'I am 83, I have never got a blow. But that look on his face – he was almost ready, you know – and then he pulled it out of my hand and went that way. “
Although the suspect initially seemed to take a step back, he fell out again on Monroe, resulting in a struggle that dragged him to the ground and left her behind with a wounded hand.
The store manager and an employee tried to intervene. Despite their efforts, Fleury and stole around $ 200 from Monroe.
Agents from Orange County said they had received a tip that Fleury was hiding in his mother's house and was planning to fly back to the Dominican Republic.
When the police found him, Fleury tried to flee, but was held.

When Monroe returned to the gas station the next morning, a customer who had heard her situation, gave her a check of $ 250, along with a few lottery tickets.
He also gave a Powerball ticket to the manager who struggled the thief the day before.
