Meghan Markle has long been known for her preference for exclusive and expensive designers.
And during her tour of Colombia last week, she made her preferences clear again, with the total value of her clothes and jewellery amounting to a whopping £90,000.
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex lives with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, in their $14 million Montecito mansion. Last week, she and her husband went on a four-day tour of the South American country.
The Sussexes had a busy schedule during their trip, which they called a DIY royal tour. They attended a Colombian folk dance show in Bogota, visited a school, enjoyed a banquet and gave speeches.
The mother of two and her husband were given extensive security briefings by Colombian Vice President Francia Marquez, who invited the couple after watching their Netflix series and being “moved” by their story.
Meghan proved once again that she is a style princess throughout it all, with a number of elegant – and expensive – looks.
Meghan Markle wore almost £90,000 worth of clothes and jewellery during her four-day trip to Colombia with Prince Harry last week. She is pictured wearing a £1,659 Johanna Ortiz dress

Her jewellery alone, including some of her staples – Princess Diana’s £17,800 Cartier watch and a £15,011.84 ‘Against Evil Eye’ bracelet by Lorraine Schwartz – added significantly to the price tag of her items.
Meghan gave a sweet gesture to the host country by several pieces by Johanna Ortiz, a Colombian woman and one of her favorite designers.
She also wore items designed by Andres Otalora and Silvia Tcherassi, also from Colombia, while her Hannia Char boater hat was handwoven by Colombian artisans, proving that Meghan personalizes her look for each tour.
Meghan wore just one high street outfit the entire time: a sleeveless shirt from Mango. Instead, she preferred to wear stylish and often tailored pieces from her favorite designers.
An olive branch? At one point, Meghan wore a shirt designed by her old friend Victoria Beckham when she spoke at the Responsible Digital Future forum in Bogota
In total, her clothes and jewellery fetched £89,964. However, as she received several items as gifts, the true value could be much higher.
Interestingly, this figure does not include her £140,000 engagement ring.
Mixing old staples with a variety of new items, Meghan made sure she put on a royal fashion show during her four days in Colombia.
Here, FEMAIL calculates the total value of Meghan’s tour wardrobe, only taking into account the one-off cost of items, while some items have already been worn.
