But in today’s dating climate, where many people are not what they seem, that’s not so easy.
Luckily, Lynne has discovered the ultimate trick to finding someone special.
Posting on TikTok (Lynne_lyon), the social media favorite said: “Okay ladies, we’re doing it all wrong.
“Get off the dating sites. Get off the internet. Stop going out on Saturday nights.
“Stop spending Saturday nights looking for the men of your dreams.
“My mate called and said, ‘I’m here and they can’t do enough for me.’
“They try to help me in and out of my car, carry things for me, they’re all very lively.
“And where was she? She was at Screwfix. She had placed an order to collect something and it was a larger item and there were guys in the queue saying ‘do you want me to bring that to your car, darling?’
“They’re all workers, they can do your jobs, and she says they’re all hot.”
Lynne added: “So guess what. I put on my gladrags and I place an order with Screwfix.
“And I’m going down like a little damsel in distress, just kidding. I can’t carry my little bag of screws and hopefully someone will carry them to my car for me.
“Who’s with me? Who’s joining the Screwfix club? We all need screws.”
The responses were immediately enthusiastic about Lynne’s idea.
