‘Embarrassing’ trolls over pretty mom who shows off her ‘sexy’ dance in Ibiza
A beautiful mother has left social media users completely divided after she enjoyed a day at the beach in a swimsuit.
A mother recently became an internet sensation after her daughter, Emily Rothwell, posted a clip of her mother dancing in Ibiza.
The sweet mother-daughter duo headed to the influencer and celebrity hotspot earlier this year to enjoy the sun and atmosphere together.
One of their stops also included a visit to the Ocean Beach Day Club, where the beautiful mom was totally in the moment and proudly showed off her best dance moves.
The youthful-looking beauty, wearing a sexy swimsuit with a deep V-neck, looked stunning and thoroughly enjoyed the music and atmosphere.
According to Emily, who regularly posts lifestyle-related content, her mother indeed enjoyed it and even liked the tourist attraction more than she did.
“When your mom loves Ibiza more than you,” she laughed in the caption of the videoand added that the matriarch was “always” killing.
Since the clip was shared on the platform, it has gone viral and has been viewed almost a million times, with mixed reactions.
While some viewers appreciated the mother’s positive attitude – and there were plenty of Romeos who were happy to take her out – others found her behaviour ’embarrassing’.
A single man tried it and said, “Here’s my father… Here’s my resume and references.”
Someone else couldn’t believe her stunning looks and figure, writing: “Your mom looks phenomenal.”
Even Emily, who reportedly runs her own business, agreed. Someone said she looked “younger” than her daughter.
The woman, who has yet to respond to the cruel internet trolls, admitted that her mother has “aged like fine wine.”
A couple joined in the conversation: ”And why not just enjoy 💕my wife and I are in Ibiza at the moment and we are in our 50s.”
“Your mom looks amazing. The confidence, the body, the arm in the air,” wrote one viewer.
Unfortunately, not everyone was so nice, some even praised her approach to parenting.
Why Women Should Wear Bikinis Regardless of Their Age or Body Shape
IF you think you have to hide your body this summer – think again!
Fabulous Magazine’s fashion director, Tracey Lea Sayer, has
Times have changed since 2015, when Protein World spent £250,000 on an advertising campaign featuring a svelte 20-year-old bikini model asking readers, “Are you beach ready?” The resulting outcry over the objectification of women was global. The verdict on the campaign and the social media backlash, which was labelled offensive, irresponsible and damaging, was well-documented, and rightly so.
Now I am happy to say that all sizes of women are represented in swimwear in the media landscape. Brands like JD Williams, In The Style and New Look, to name a few, all work with models of all sizes and ages to promote their swimwear.
My social media feed is also filled with ladies of all ages and sizes looking amazing in their swimwear. What started as a stream of shy bikini selfies has now become a body-positive movement that makes us all feel good about putting on our swimwear.
And why wouldn’t we! Our bodies are all completely different and we should celebrate that fact.
At 53 I love bikinis, I love having an all over tan in the summer with as little white spots as possible. I don’t want to dumb myself down as I get older, I want to celebrate the fact that I’m still here! My goal is to keep wearing bikinis well into my 80s if I’m lucky enough to get there.
I have learned to love the aging process. I will never look the same as I did when I was 20, but I do enjoy taking care of myself a lot more than I did then. A better diet, more exercise, and lots of self-care make me feel good inside and out.
I love that other cultures love to celebrate their elders, I think we need to embrace this in Western society instead of just fetishizing the youth.
Growing older is not something to fear, but to embrace.
I’m gonna put on that damn bikini!
One critic said: “Another mother trying to be a ‘friend’ to her daughter, not a parent. Embarrassing…”
Someone else agreed, writing, “This is not right.”
“Tragic and everything that is wrong with society,” added a third troll.
“Goosebumps of embarrassment are apparently a real thing,” said one viewer, while another urged the woman to “act her age.”
