My Aldi leggings are stretchy enough for my mommy pouch and my husband loves them
A MODE fan is totally in love with Aldi’s comfy leggings, which even got her husband’s stamp of approval.
She was very excited about the garment because she didn’t have to compromise between price, style and comfort.
Reddit user WookieMonsterTV the fashion tip shared in a post.
She explained that the Serra Ladies Capri Jegging had been a happy discovery after giving birth.
“I gave birth to my son 10 months ago and gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy (which I didn’t lose, yay),” she said.
After pregnancy, most of her clothes no longer fit.
“I am now 1.73 meters tall and 109 kilos [pounds] “99 percent of my clothes are the same size as before the baby, and I only wear my trusty maternity pants and some sweatpants,” she said.
“Anyway, these leggings are AWESOME.”
The leggings are not only comfortable, they also give her more confidence.
Although she initially wasn’t sure if she would fit in, she explained that she “took the risk.”
“Usually the seam on any XL pants I try on screams for mercy, but with these pants I didn’t have that feeling,” she said.
“I know I should stop trying to squeeze my lumpy butt into XL sizes, but these are VERY forgiving, fit so well, and give me a tiny bit of hope.”
She added that the pants are not so tight that she has difficulty putting them on.
“They are stretchy enough to fit my mommy pouch in, lol, AND I feel comfortable in them which is a HUGE plus,” she said.
The best part is that the design of the leggings makes them look like regular jeans, but without the uncomfortable feel of denim.
“My husband says they look amazing, and he can’t even tell they’re jeggings!” she said.
“So please buy one in every color, because I’m going to do the same!”
While the Redditor found the jeggings in Aldi stores, shoppers were eager to discover the style for themselves.
“You don’t have to tell me twice!” said one commenter.
“I’m in the same postpartum situation. I’m going to Aldi tomorrow. Congratulations on your baby!”
“If you [hadn’t] “If I had posted this I wouldn’t even have thought about buying them as I’m normally a size XXL or 20,” said another.
“I’m always disappointed that the largest size clothing Aldi offers is XL or size 16. I’m definitely going to check these out now! Thanks!”
