A 23-YEAR-OLD says her friends think her 49-year-old boyfriend is her sugar daddy, but she insists their love is real.
May and Richard say they are best friends and that they do ‘anything and everything’ together.

The couple met when May was just 21 and he helped her when she got lost.
“I thought he was handsome, he had nice teeth, he was in shape,” she said Love does not judge.
May initially kept the relationship private, but recently decided to show off her new love via social media.
Her post was flooded with hateful comments, with people calling their relationship “sick” and suggesting May would “get dementia” if she got too close to him.

May also received negative reactions from her friends. They called Richard May’s sugar daddy and asked her if he could be their sugar daddy too.
“He’s not my sugar daddy, I really love him,” she said.
“Rich isn’t rich enough to be my sugar daddy,” she added.
“And I don’t think he’s old enough either.”
May has cut off contact with all friends who reacted negatively to her relationship with Richard.
However, she said the couple often faces judgement when they go on dates together.
“The whole room turns and watches us wherever we go,” she said.
When Richard’s family first met May, they were concerned she would leave him for someone younger.
But when they saw them together, they saw how happy they were and they turned around.
