‘Worst decision ever’, people furious after Primark makes major changes to iconic item
PRIMARK customers are furious after noticing two major changes to a fan-favourite item.
So if you’re a Primark fan, be prepared and listen up.
Especially if you love the chain’s stretch cami tops, you’ll be amazed.
A Primark customer named Ina, a mother from London, was shocked when she saw a major change to the iconic vests in her local store.
Angered by the discovery, Ina alerted others via social media, which surprised many.
In a short clip with the caption ‘I can’t handle it anymore’, the fashion fan shows off the chain’s white vests.

Along with the crying emojis, she confirmed that the chain had not only increased the price of the cami tops, but that they had also removed the adjustable straps.
The mother shouted: “Not Primark putting up the price of their cami tops AND removing the adjustable straps.”
The vests, with a round neck and spaghetti straps, are available in different colours.
Sizes range from XXS to XXL, making them perfect for a wide range of body shapes.
The cardigans can be worn in many different ways: alone with trousers and thick block heels, with leggings and a cardigan to snuggle up in on the couch or under a knitted sweater for extra coziness.
Fans of the iconic vests, which now cost £2 each, claimed they previously sold for £1.50.
Not only was Ina annoyed by the 50p price increase, she was also unimpressed with the way the modified cotton vests would now fit her large breasts.

Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
HOW does Primark do it? Keep delivering on-trend items at such unbelievable prices? According to bosses, it comes down to four things.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to them they can save by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothes represent the “latest trends”, “they do not use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores.” This includes things like “asking suppliers to package our t-shirts so they can go straight on the shelves.”

To this Ina replied: “Now I should actually spend money on more expensive ones.”
Another added: “Removing the adjustable strap is the dumbest decision.
