Ignore a Wrinkle-Removal Myth, Doctor Says — Plus Her Favorite Anti-Aging Buys
A SKINCARE SPECIALIST has debunked a myth that it would reduce wrinkles on your face.
She also shared her best anti-aging buys, including three budget-friendly products you can find at your local drugstore.
Multi-specialist physician Dr. Azza Halim is known in the beauty world for her skin care advice and treatment plans.
In an interview with The US Sun, she revealed which myths you should ignore to put your skin’s health first and maintain a youthful appearance.
GREAT MYTHS
According to Dr. Halim, it is a big misconception that “skin care products are the only thing needed to make wrinkles disappear.”
According to the expert, that is “not true”.
She explained that they can only ‘help the appearance of
wrinkles, but they can’t get rid of them completely.”
The best solutions are professional treatments in the practice, such as Botox and other injectables.
She added that they will “eventually” be needed for the more severe signs of aging.
For more serious problems, professional treatments in the practice are recommended.

Another big myth is that you only need to start using anti-aging products when you see wrinkles.
According to Dr. Halim, this was “bad advice,” because prevention is essential.
Other myths she said you shouldn’t pay attention to were about sun protection and acne and pimples.
If you think you only need to wear sunscreen on sunny days or outdoors, you are wrong.
Dr. Halim explained that photodamage also occurs on sunny days and under indoor lighting.
If you have oily skin, you should still use a moisturizer, even though a big beauty myth says you shouldn’t.
“Oily skin still needs hydration and moisture to balance sebum production,” she says.
In recent times, there has been an increase in demand for natural plant products as many people consider them to be better because they contain fewer additives.
Dr. Halim called this “misleading, as many people are allergic or sensitive to plants.”
Finally, acne is not just a problem during puberty and the teenage years. It is still very common in adults.
