And thanks to the orange leaf print, this is the perfect transitional piece to wear from summer to fall.

The patterned tea dress features short puff sleeves, a tie belt at the waist and a flattering V-neck.

Normally it costs £28, but now it’s on sale for just £14.

Sainsbury’s bosses say: “This midi tea dress features a statement floral print with short puff sleeves. Pair with our gold cross-front sandals.”

Available in sizes 38-44. Online it is almost sold out, so try to get it in a local store.

And fashion lovers are already rushing to get their hands on one.

Fashion influencer modeled her in a short Instagram video that has already been viewed 93,000 times Poppy Adams cheered: “Okay, puff sleeves, they’re kind of dramatic, aren’t they?

“Not a print I would normally go for, but I think it’s gorgeous. I really like the neckline.

“It looks more expensive than it is.”

Responding to the try-on clip, one social media post said: “The way I HAD HAD when you put on that orange print dress. That was made for you!”

Supermarket chic or expensive high street: can you tell the difference between expensive jeans that cost more than twice as much as their supermarket twins?

“That orange print dress is opulent,” someone else added.

A third wrote: “Red leaf dress = va-va-voom!!”

Another person who bought the dress chimed in: “It looks amazing on you. I’ve never worn a long dress before, I’m so impressed. I’m saving it for a wedding I’m going to in September.”

Another said: “I bought this dress 2 weeks ago after seeing it online. Beautiful dress, true to size and I got lots of compliments on it when I first wore it.”

“I highly recommend this dress,” raved another customer.

“So flattering and true to size. It’s a bit autumnal in design and a bargain.”

It’s not the only Tu Clothing item that fashion fans have been going wild for lately.

Yesterday we reported that shoppers are flocking to their nearest store for a ‘gem of a dress’ that looks a lot more expensive than its £22 price tag. And that you can wear all year round.

The Khaki Midaxi Poplin dress has a flattering silhouette that suits all body shapes.

And now is the perfect time to buy it, as shoppers and fashion experts alike have said it’s the perfect fall and winter look when paired with a chunky knit sweater.

Reasons to buy supermarket fashion

When you’re looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or want to update your basics, you don’t have to spend hours scouring the shops or scrolling online. Just buy a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg…

They are handy – Chances are that you go to the supermarket more often than to a shopping mall or high street.

It is affordable – Supermarkets are leaders in budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap, from basic items to more fashionable pieces.

They are more fashionable than you might think – Because their customer base is larger than that of the average high street store, stores like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are better able to respond to the market and predict trends in many more areas than just food supply.

They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a bit more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often very practical too: think lots of 100% cotton that can be thrown in the washing machine without a second thought.
