Choosing a name for your child is a decision that should not be taken lightly.
One woman, however, didn’t see the big problem with her daughter’s name until her friend pointed it out to her.
In her Reddit afteruser nyx-fix told how stunned she was by the unusual name her friend gave her baby.
She told me that her friend had come up with the name Vaginé for her newborn baby.
The Reddit user couldn’t shake the shock when he heard the inappropriate-sounding name.
“Yes, you read that right,” she told her fellow Reddit users.
“My jaw dropped, just like yours.”
She pointed out the association everyone makes when they hear the name.
“It’s like Vagina and Renée had a horrible love child,” she joked in her post.
She revealed that the mother “eventually changed the poor child’s name.”
However, she regretted that it took so long for the mother to come to her senses.
“The fact that no one could convince her that Vaginé was a terrible idea is so bizarre,” she said.
Reddit users shared their thoughts on the unique name in the comments.
“Okay I thought Slim Easy was the worst name ever posted here but this one takes the cake,” one person wrote.
“Vaj JJ for short,” another reader suggested.
“Vagine would be an awesome name for a drag queen,” a third Redditor joked.
“My mother knew a woman who named her children Regina and Vegina,” someone else said.
