Tommy Fury’s texting scandal takes a shocking turn as a woman who accused him of sending her flirty DMs claims she was left ‘HANGOVER’ by someone pretending to be the boxer
The Tommy Fury messaging scandal took a shocking turn when a woman who accused him of sending her flirty DMs claimed she had been “catfished” by a scammer.
Earlier this month, Tommy’s fiancée Molly-Mae Hague, 25, stunned fans when she announced her split from the boxer, also 25, after five years together. It has since also emerged that he had ‘cheated’ on her.
This week, a woman named Kay Keogh accused Tommy of ‘messaging her after he spotted her on a night out in Manchester’ while she was engaged to Molly-Mae.
At the time, she shared a screenshot of a message from an account allegedly belonging to Tommy on TikTok. The text read: ‘Are you in Manchester?’
However, she has since returned to the platform to confess that she was scammed by a fake account, saying that it wasn’t Tommy who messaged her at all.
The Tommy Fury messaging scandal took a shocking turn when a woman claimed he sent her flirty DMs and now claims she was ‘catfished’ by a scammer.
Last week, a woman named Kay Keogh accused Tommy of ‘messaging another woman after seeing her on a night out in Manchester’ while he was engaged to Molly-Mae.
Kay shared a video in which she said she had received a message from someone telling her that they were behind the messages and not the Love Island star.
She claims she was targeted by the messages after attending an event in Manchester with someone who ‘could have been posing as Tommy’ and said she was ‘very confused’.
In the clip, she says, “I was definitely catfished. Someone actually called me, absolutely, because another fake account messaged me and they literally said to me, ‘Did you really think that was him? That was me.’
‘And of course people will say, “But you said you saw him?” but like I said, I was already really confused. And it was also really weird that I was just in Manchester and we had gone to a private event and there was a group of lads and one of the lads could have been impersonating him.’
She continued, “Like I said, I don’t even know what he actually looks like yet. I know he’s got brown hair and he’s really muscular. But yeah, this person messaged me and basically told me they were trolling me.”
Kay expressed surprise that people can now ‘buy verifications and change their names’ on social media.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Tommy for comment.
Kay had previously criticized Tommy for messaging her, as she said on TikTok; “I was thinking about whether or not I should make this video, but I’m going to do it,” she said. “So, my friends and I were in Manchester and we met him [Tommy] one night.
However, she has since returned to the platform to confess that she was scammed by a fake account, saying that it wasn’t Tommy who messaged her at all.

‘We were actually out with a group of guys and I didn’t really have a clue who he really was.
‘One of the guys asked for my Instagram, which I gave him. We were all together, but it wasn’t until I looked at my phone and saw his name pop up that I actually realized who he was.
“When I saw his name pop up, I was like, ‘What the hell.’ Then I realized who he was, of course, but I literally have DMs and I don’t know if I should send them or not.”
In a second video, Kay added: ‘This is part two of the Tommy situation. My girlfriend was there, so she’s going to explain what happened too.’
Her friend then said: ‘I’m not from the UK so I didn’t recognise him until we looked at the DMs and saw we were clearly on his page.’

It came after a Danish partygoer, who Tommy allegedly kissed during a wild holiday before they split, spoke out.
Boxer Tommy flew abroad for a holiday in Ohrid, North Macedonia earlier this year, where he reportedly kissed a blonde woman in a nightclub, leading to Molly and Mae announcing their split after five years last week.
Bystanders claim the boxer “didn’t seem to care” as he watched him brutally kiss the blonde woman while she was drinking vodka and partying in a nightclub at 2am.
Jewellery assistant Milla Corfixen, 20, denies kissing the Love Island star, insisting: ‘He was a real gentleman.’
Speaking with The sun Milla said she was shocked to hear that Tommy and Molly-Mae had split and insisted she would try to speak to the influencer to tell her side of the story.
Milla has revealed that she has a boyfriend, while Tommy previously denied cheating on Molly.
“I’m the girl, but nothing happened. We just had fun,” she explained. “I don’t know what he did, but someone else must have kissed him.”

Speaking to The Sun, Milla said she was shocked when she found out Tommy and Molly-Mae had split and insisted she would try to speak to the influencer to share her side of the story (pictured with their daughter Bambi).
Amid all the drama, Molly-Mae has had support from her friends and loved ones, who have been there to prop her up at her £3.5million mansion in Cheshire.
Molly-Mae was also said to be fed up with Tommy ‘travelling all over the world while she looked after their child’, it was revealed.
Over the past few months, Tommy has traveled to Germany, Hungary, Dubai and North Macedonia.
Friends of the couple say the split was ‘long overdue’ as Molly-Mae grew tired of his lifestyle while she cared for Bambi. The Mirror unveiled on Sunday.
A source said: ‘The problems had been growing for a while. It increasingly seemed like they were leading two very different lifestyles.’
On August 7, just seven days before the split, Molly-Mae posted a YouTube video in which she said she was “struggling” raising Bambi alone.
In a candid video posted to social media, the Love Island star revealed she had been left to care for their daughter Bambi alone for weeks while her fiancé was working elsewhere.
Friends have revealed in recent weeks that the couple has been going through a difficult time and is increasingly living separate lives, with the cracks in their normally close relationship visible on social media.
