She added: 'There were sick people everywhere. Even the A&E waiting room of the children was full. I feel for the nurses. They are overworked and stressed. But it is disgusting that people have to wait in these circumstances. '

The grim count – which is equal to around 160 people every day – is four times larger than estimated by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) in 2023.
It comes after nurses have revealed that patients have died and have gone unnoticed for hours after they have been left in inhuman disorders on corridors.
The Health Foundation reached the last digit by combining data on long waiting of NHS England with an investigation into death figures by the Office for National Statistics.
Data shows that 1.77 million awaits 12 hours or more in A & ES in England last year, against a four -hour goal.
