Sea World Gold Coast: More than a dozen people get stuck in popular attraction

More than a dozen people are stuck on the Vortex attraction at Sea World.

A spokesperson for the Gold Coast theme park told Daily Mail Australia that “13 people” were trapped on the Vortex ride, with the incident “still ongoing”.

“There will be a ride stop at one of our attractions this afternoon,” the spokesperson said.

“We have communicated with all of them and they are doing well and safe.”

The Vortex invites thrill seekers to ‘twist, turn and spin like never before, while spinning 50 feet above sea level’.

This attraction reaches a speed of 30 km per hour and rotates 360 degrees.
