My $5 Trader Joe’s purchase has literally rejuvenated my hands – I’m Benjamin Button-ing
For a beauty lover, it was not easy to find a product that counteracts the signs of aging.
Her must-have beauty buy, which costs just $4.99, is surprisingly not marketed as an anti-aging cream.
She shared a photo of the skin-care product on the Trader Joe’s forum on Reddit, which has more than 330,000 members.
“This lotion has literally made my hands look less old,” she wrote under the handle Fake girlfriend.
“I’m Benjamin Button’ing.”
The photo showed Trader Joe’s Ultra hydrating hand creamwhich costs $4.99.

According to the brand, it is composed of several skin-beneficial ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil and hemp seed oil.
The hydrating and soothing cream is described as a cream with a ‘fresh’ scent and a luxurious feel.
The Redditor raved that the product doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on the hands and that the scent is mild.
However, she complained that she had difficulty replacing it when the battery ran out.

Many comments on the thread thanked her for sharing the cream, while others indicated that they also use the cream.
“I just started using this and I agree! It’s great, especially for the price,” said one.
“I love this hand cream! I stopped spending $23 on Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve when I discovered this,” commented another.
“This is amazing stuff and I plan on buying a few more tubes to hide around the house,” wrote a third.
Another said that Trader Joe’s Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream is an imitation of L’Occitane’s shea butter, which costs $40 on the brand’s website.
“It smells pretty much the same, but TJ’s version is much lighter in my experience,” they said.
“I prefer TJ’s version. It also absorbs faster.”
The comparison comes after another Redditor said the two products have “similar” packaging and scent.
They added that Trader Joe’s Daily Facial Sunscreen is a dupe of Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen, but for a “fraction of the price.”
