  • Prime Minister Anthony Albanian Testy with reporters

Anthony Albanese was agitated when he was asked for a caravan full of explosives that may have been intended as a terror plot aimed at Jews.

The prime minister was defensive when he was under pressure whether the Australian public and state premier should have received more information about the anti -Semitic discovery in northwest Sydney.

“This should not be the source of political debate, and … I note that the coalition has also said that they would not change the protocols that have been present for a long time,” he told reporters morning on Friday.

“The idea that you make public statements about something that is an ongoing investigation is of course completely inappropriate.”

A caravan filled with explosives and notes with the address of a Sydney synagogue was discovered in Dural in Sydney's North-West almost fourteen days ago, but the information was not revealed to the public until Wednesday.

Opposition leader Peter Dutton has claimed that the national cabinet should at least have been told, after revelations they were not.

Tammie Farrugia and her friend Scott Marshall have been accused of non -related violations in custody, in which the police said that their arrests were made to the 'periphery' of the case.

The couple had posted on Facebook last month looking for a caravan.

Farrugia and Marshall have not been charged with regard to the caravan and there is no suggestion for misconduct.

Farrugia was arrested about an alleged anti -Semitic attack in Woolha in December, while Marsgall was sued at the end of last year with weapons and drug delicacies that he has not argued guilty.

They don't seem to have any history of extremist ideology that could support the warning of the Australian federal police commissioner Reece Kershaw that overseas actors could pay for small criminals to carry out anti -Semitic attacks.
