Authorities in NSW and Victoria have banned a non -registered Botox -practitioner and warned the public to stay away from her company after a suspected outbreak of botulism.
Norsafiza Binti Zakaria, who uses different Aliass, is suspected of delivering fake anti-wrinkle injections to three Sydney women on a private botox party before they were all admitted to the hospital later.
Zakaria is now excluded from performing cosmetic procedures in NSW and Victoria, while the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner and the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) are investigating.
She has not been charged by the police in connection with the incidents.
The prohibition comes after patients with presumably botulism had been taken to the hospital, causing toxins to weaken the muscle and limit breathing.
A woman from Sydney was placed in intensive care and the two other cases were linked to the same house in Sydney.
The committee claims that Zakaria advertises with botox injections on social media and WhatsApp.
The fake practitioner then manages the substances at houses in NSW and Victoria even though he has no legal registration.

On Friday, NSW Health published the eight-week interim prohibition order against Zakaria, which prohibits it from carrying out cosmetic procedures.

The HCCC has the authority to expand the prohibition of eight weeks until a full examination has been carried out and it applies to both NSW and Victoria.
Symptoms of botulism can take a maximum of two weeks to appear after it has been injected.
Symptoms include progressive weakness, swallowing problems, hanging eyelids, blurred or double visibility and breathing problems.
