A black school manager lost his raced discrimination claim after he was fired after a row of a white colleague about whether Joe Biden was suitable to become the US president.

Chris McLean-Benjamin, who is black British of West Indian descent, said that a librarian behaved like a “superior white woman” and treated him like a child after trying to involve her in a debate about the 46th US president for public office.

The manager of the Leaning Resource Center had questioned and called the cognitive skills of Mr Biden He heard a 'dangerous man', an employment tribunal.

The librarian said she didn't want to keep discussing the problem, but Mr. McLean-Benjamin brought it back to her when they were together in a retail space and told her: “You treat me like a child” and “I don't” Don't care how you speak with your husband, “the panel was told.

After complaining that he felt her uncomfortable, the manager of the Leaning Resource Center accused her of worn as a 'superior white woman'.

He was then asked to leave the school – which he had only worked for a month – and the building supervised by a guard.

McLean-Benjamin has sued Hornsey School for girls in North London and the recruitment agency that placed him there for racing and sex discrimination. However, his claims were rejected.

The Tribunal, which was held in Watford, heard that the man was delivered by the recruitment company Edgware Associates to work at the school from January 2023.

The man was released from his role as Leaning Resource Center Manager at Hornsey School for Girls in Haringey, North London

The tribunal heard that he temporarily filled the vacancy until they could find a permanent replacement.

On February 21, 2023, he had a conversation with a white female colleague, who only called the Tribunal ZBC.

The hearing was told that he noted the assistant librarian that the then US President Joe Biden is a “dangerous man” and “questioned his cognitive skills.”

ZBC told Mr. McLean-Benjamin that she did not want to continue the conversation shortly afterwards.

But the man tried to raise the subject again later in the day when they were together in the storage room and she told him again that she didn't want to talk about it.

The assistant librarian told a colleague that 'she found the entire interaction uncomfortable'.

She said Mr. McLean-Benjamin claimed that she treated him like a child during the conversation, and that he said '[I] Treat everyone with respect and you use this against me '.

In a meeting with school bosses about the incident a few days later, the man said that the reason for the investigation was “clear racism.”

The tribunal discovered that he was furious during this meeting and was stimulated by the Chamber, repeatedly the assistant librarian 'who called woman' instead of using her name.

McLean Benjamin said his colleague saw himself as a 'superior white woman', and on another occasion she had acted 'like a crazy woman'.

Referring to the store of the retail space, he said, “If she wants to say that I locked the door and battered her, I go now.” He also called her a 'clown' and a 'joker'.

The tribunal heard that after this meeting he went to the school's playground and had a call with his trade union representative.

He “seemed angry because of his body language” and was heard that “this school is racist” or “it's racist,” heard the tribunal.

Mr. McLean-Benjamin denied being angry and claimed that he was 'completely calm' on the phone.

Shortly after this phone call he was asked to leave the building and the guard was guided out '.

Mr. McLean-Benjamin was fired and then took legal action. However, the tribunal discovered that the man was not racially discriminated against.

Judge of employment Nathaniel Caiden concluded that 'there is nothing to show that someone from another race or sex would have been treated otherwise – let alone more favorable'.
