Channel 4 is put under fire for the 'remediation' of the extremist views of a woman accused of anti -Semitism and homophobia in a show about immigration.
Former the Apprentice candidate Bushra Shaikh appears in reality show Go back to where you come from who starts on Monday.
The series costs six people-four anti-immigration and two pro-immigration and shows them after migrant routes from Somalia and Syria.
Mrs Shaikh, 41, who is of Pakistan heritage and leads an anti-racism campaign in the sport called Run Racism Out, is in the show as a pro-immigration campaigner.
She is shown in a trailer and says: 'There is a part in Britain that I think it is as thick as S ***. I am not the person with whom you want these ridiculous racist and Islamophobic conversations. '
Channel 4, however, is accused of no longer showing her extreme side that can be seen via her social media accounts.
This week, after tweeting that an Iraqi Christian Salwan called Momika who was famous in Sweden for burning the Quran, she wrote to her 89,000 followers on X: “Some of you can disagree, but the public desecration of A holy book should be seen as a hate crime and the perpetrator must experience consequences. '
She later insisted that she did not mean that he should have been shot, and added: “I am neither sad or happy that Salwan Momika is dead. I don't care. '

In 2023 she wrote a tweet described as homophobic in which she said that homosexuality was seen as 'unnatural and immoral' in Islam. Then she compared homosexuality with pedophilia and wrote: 'Nobody was born gay. It's a choice. Nobody was born a Paedo either. Feelings do not determine that what is right to do. Both are wrong. '
Earlier in the week, the campaign against anti-Semitism (CAA) discovered a series of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic posts in which Mrs. Shaikh, who runs a modeline of 'modest' clothing, said Jews who moved from Europe from Europe 'the largest charlatans on This planet 'and a' couple of lying bastards'.

A spokesperson for Mrs. Shaikh said: 'With regard to Salwan Momika, Bushra never supports or condonates murder and it is terrible that he has been murdered – the law should never be taken into his own hands.
