My hair was so thin and patchy – thanks to a 52p DIY trick, it’s now so thick
A WOMAN who transformed her hair from thin and patchy to thick and healthy has shared her 52p DIY routine.
Claudia struggled with hair loss for three years and now that her hair is looking its best, she shares tips and tricks on how to grow your hair and regain your confidence.
She shared dramatic before and after photos of her locks on TikTok.
In the first photo, her hair on top of her head was extremely thin and she had bald spots.
In the second photo, Claudia’s locks are completely unrecognizable, with thick, shiny strands cascading down her back.
In another video, Claudia showed a simple DIY routine she uses to grow her hair.
Claudia demonstrated the trick by sharing that she makes her own rosemary oil with fresh rosemary.
Rosemary oil has been proven to stimulate hair growth. For just 52p you can buy a bag of fresh rosemary from Tesco.
Wash the rosemary and pat it dry. Then add about 200 ml of a base oil of your choice.
Claudia said she uses olive oil and adds a teaspoon of flaxseed oil to it.
Nextbring a pan of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, place the bowl with the oil and rosemary on top and let it sit for 15 minutes.
“The bowl should not touch the water, but should steam“, she said.
Let the oil cool and then pour it into a glass jar.
“You can now store it in the refrigerator and use it before you shower,” she said.
To use rosemary oil, simply massage it into your scalp and let it sit for a few moments before rinsing.
Tips against hair loss
