There is no better feeling than putting your feet up after a long day at work. However, it is not necessarily acceptable to do so, as your shoes will make the chair opposite you dirty, so that someone else can sit on it.

Fortunately, some bus lines in the country seem to have finally recognised this as a major problem and come up with a brilliant solution.

This amazing solution, which you may not have even noticed, has already become wildly popular on social media after user Harley Rose shared the news on TikTok.

The now viral videowhich has been viewed almost a million times in one day, shows Harley and her buddy riding a bus through Bournemouth.

According to friends who rode the More Bus, there is an option to convert the rear-facing seats into an official footrest. Ideal for resting your tired feet after walking all day.

This not only makes your journey to work more pleasant, but also protects the cushions from the annoying effects of feet on chairs.

Once you’ve put up the comfortable cushions, the company advises travelers and bus passengers to be polite if a fellow passenger wants to sit down.

“If anyone needs the sea, be a good girl and move your feet away.”

“Who’s new?” Harley and her buddy were stunned by the discovery in the video, in which they also tried out the feature themselves.

When she posted the video to the social media platform, the woman said she had “no idea” such a detail even existed.

“I wouldn’t even think of moving it,” she replied to a viewer.

“More reasons to take the bus now,” Harley chuckled, admitting she “couldn’t believe” her eyes.

Unfortunately, it seems that not everyone will have the ultimate bus experience, even though this is a great invention, as there are only a few companies and routes that offer this.

Someone from Manchester wrote: “I have tried this with the Manchester Bee network and all the stagecoach networks but it doesn’t work.”

There are more things that people are just now realizing…

Another was completely stunned, writing: “I’ve lived here all my life, how could I not know this.”

“Excuse me, since when?!” A third was stunned.

One commuter claimed: “It’s only on M1 and M2 buses in Poole/Bournemouth, not in ldn [London] or somewhere else.”

“They have buses like that on the Isle of Wight too,” said one viewer.
