Laura Anderson says her ex bragged about having ‘Gary’s gift’ after getting her pregnant

LAURA Anderson has revealed how her ex Gary Lucy bragged he had ‘Gary’s gift’ after getting her pregnant with his fifth child.

The former couple first met in 2022 on Celebs Go Dating and a year later, Laura announced she was pregnant with Gary’s baby.

However, shortly after this announcement, the former Hollyoaks actor announced that they were no longer together.

Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on her podcast Happy Mum Happy Baby, the former Love Islander opened up about being pregnant with Gary’s baby.

“It was planned, but it was the first month [I fell pregnant]”, the 35-year-old revealed.

Laura claims the couple had a conversation about the times she ovulated and they tried on those days and to her surprise she got pregnant that first month.

Laura talks about announcing her pregnancy to Gary: ‘I remember saying to him, ‘I told you so.’

“He calls it ‘Gary’s gift.’ And I thought, ‘Oh my God. Thank you, Gary, for your gift.”

When Laura spoke about her relationship with Gary, with whom she shared 12-month-old Bonnie, she said their relationship started out as a “textbook relationship”.

She claims the pair were ‘friends’ at first before he managed to ‘seduce’ her.

Laura continued: “He’s definitely a charmer, you know.

“And we probably fell in love even more after the show, you know, not on camera, because it’s always a little bit different. But yeah, I was just completely in love with each other.”

The reality star explained that their relationship only grew stronger after their appearance on Celebs Go Dating, as they were able to get to know each other better on a personal level.

She said, “And then he had four children. He always talked about how he would like to have more.

“And I thought, yeah. And we tried it and then it happened.”

The former Hollyoaks actor was in a relationship with Laura, who revealed to her Instagram followers on February 16, 2023, that they were expecting their first child together.

‘Head over heels’

She uploaded a video montage and wrote, “Our hearts are full, Baby Lucy expected in the summer of 2023.”

In one clip, Gary is seen laughing while holding baby clothes, and in another clip, Laura holds her baby bump.

However, just hours later on February 17, Gary, 42, announced that they were “no longer” together, but that they would mutually agree to parent.

This confirmation came after reports that the couple had already split in January.

But talking to Giovanna in her podcastLaura claimed that the announcement was out of her hands.

She said, “That wasn’t my choice.

“Yeah, technically we weren’t together, I think.

“But again, I was actually hoping it wouldn’t be that way.

“I think there’s a difference between when it’s private and when it’s public.

“But you know, we were going to announce it on this day, and then I did. He didn’t. And then he told everyone that we weren’t together.”

Since giving birth, Laura has claimed to be a single mother.

She said: “I decided to bring this child into the world and they didn’t ask for it. At least I can give her a solid foundation of mother and father at home.

“And you know, I did, and I still feel guilty that I can’t give her that right now, in a way.

“But I know it’s not really my guilt.

“And I do my best, I’m a kind of mother and father, and I’m sure that’s more than enough.

“You know, everybody says, you are enough, you are enough, and I know that.

“But I hope in the future She could see her father more often; he would like to be more involved.

“It was quite difficult.”

Laura explained that there is a big distance between the two of them.

She said: “When we were together we knew we were going to live together. I always wanted to live with him in Essex.

“And when we broke up, of course I didn’t move, but I don’t think that’s really an excuse.

“I don’t think it’s that far away if you want to see your child.

“I think people need to be mindful of men, especially today, who tend to take responsibility or can’t.

“It takes two people, it takes two people to bring a child into the world.”

Last month, Laura lashed out at Gary on social media after he shared a clip of himself with his daughter Bonnie with the caption, “The Little Things.”

The former Hollyoaks actress was in a relationship with a former Love Island contestant, who revealed to her Instagram followers on February 16, 2023, that they were expecting their first child together.

But Laura angrily wrote in the comments section: “Instead of posting videos of the one time you saw your daughter this year, could you please respond to my text from two weeks ago, that would be amazing.”

In June, when responding to a troll who asked if Bonnie ever sees her father, Laura replied, “Do you mean her dad has seen her… No he hasn’t since January 2nd. If you want to ask him those questions because I can’t control the actions of others x.”
