Authorities confirmed the tragic death of a teenager in a go-karting attraction center on Friday evening.
Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene at Teamsport Go Karting in Burslem around 8.15 pm.
The teenager was not responded by emergency services and died later.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently not clear, although the police have confirmed that death is being treated as 'not suspected'.
Officers of the local force remained until the early hours of this morning on the spot along Waterloo Road.
A police spokesperson said: 'We were called to Teamsport Go Karting Stoke after reports of a cardiac arrest.
'Paramedics of West Midlands ambulance service were already there and found a man in his late teenagers who did not respond on the spot. Unfortunately he was later declared dead.
'Death is not treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
“Our thoughts stay with the man's family with this difficult time.”
