The disastrous incident at the bustling intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue has resulted in various injuries and set fire to several houses, NBC10 reported.
There should be no reports to fatalities yet, but the Learjet 55 hit various buildings and cars in the area that left a trail of destruction in his wake.
The private jet with six people on board left Northeast Philadelphia Airport and was on its way to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri.

“She took care of her. She went home. She fought quite a lot to survive, and unfortunately, this tragedy on the way home. '

He explained: 'I thought the buildings fell or something. I look outside and everything you see is a huge explosion.
“You see all this fire and I started to vibrate, then I see a person on fire.”
The witness said he doesn't know what happened to the person he saw in flames.
The site also points out that the plane is registered with a company under the name Med Jets.
Municipal officials said that police and fire brigade staff are on stage, where nearby roads are closed.

“Follow the guidance of local officials and police officers for people in the area.”
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash. The NTSB will lead the investigation.
Mayor of Philadelphia Cherelle Parker addressed the tragedy during a press conference and said: 'From now on we have no reports about the number of fatalities.
'So now we just ask for prayers for everyone who may have been affected.
'We will encourage you to stay away from the scene. If you see debris, call 911. Don't touch anything. This is still an active scene that is being investigated. '
