Tracy Vo has revealed in a heartbreaking post that she lost her baby at five months of pregnancy.
The 40-year-old Channel Nine presenter shared the devastating news with her loved ones and followers on Instagram on Friday, and has received an outpouring of support.
Tracy, who is married to Liam Connolly, posted a photo of her baby’s hand and footprints, alongside a toy bunny and a hat.
The Nine News Perth star shared an emotional tribute to their baby boy in a caption, revealing that she and Liam named him James when he was born on August 15.
She expressed her grief in an emotional message sharing the terrible news of her son’s tragic passing.
“I carried you for five months, but you just weren’t meant for this world,” she wrote.
‘We named you James Connolly. You arrived at 4:20pm on August 15, 2024. You were perfect with the cutest little nose and gorgeous little lips.
“Our hearts are broken, but we have found comfort in knowing that you are at peace. Mommy and Daddy love you so much, and we are so proud of you.

‘We held you in our arms for a while. We will love you for the rest of our lives. Thank you to our family and friends for so much love and support over the past few weeks.

The former Today news anchor was inundated with heartfelt messages of support from her friends and followers in the comments.

Sylvia Jeffreys of the Today Show said, “I love you, darling, and your sweet James.”
Lizzie Pearl, who works for A Current Affair, said: “You are the most beautiful woman, we love your sweet boy James as we love you and Liam.”
And Nine News Perth weatherman Scherri-Lee Biggs added: “James will always be loved and never forgotten.”
Tracy and her husband Liam were married in October in a ceremony in Perth, with guests including Sylvia and former Today presenter Allison Langdon.
She previously said she thought she was destined to remain single until she found true love in Liam, who she reportedly met on a dating app in 2021.

Tracy left her role as a newsreader on the Today Show in 2020 when she moved back to Perth from Sydney to be with her elderly parents during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I was just like, ‘I’m done. I’m happy being single and being an awesome aunt to my girlfriend’s kids, I’m happy living my life on my own,'” she told 9Honey.
“I convinced myself to give it one more try, and he turned out to be the one.”
Tracy stepped down from her role as a newsreader on the Today Show in 2020 when she moved back to Perth from Sydney to be with her elderly parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I really miss the Today Show guys and it was just a family decision, purely a family decision,” Tracy said at the time.
“I’m still part of the family and I really miss them – but it was just one of those things, I had to do it, you know.”
She was replaced by entertainment presenter Brooke Boney, who confirmed in March that she would step down from Today after five years.
