She explained that she could get the same vampire look for less money with knockoffs for less than a third of the price.

Reddit user Minute Storm 4811 shared the makeup tip in a post.
After extensive research, she revealed her favorite dupes for Clinique’s $25 Black Honey Almost lipstick.
“I love that dark cherry lipstick, so I buy a lot of those kinds of lip products,” she said.
“After trying DOZENS, I’ve found my three favorite Black Honey dupes.”
She was very excited about Elf’s Hydrating Core Lip Shine in the shade Ecstatic, because she thought it was just as good as the real thing.
“This lip balm has the same texture and sheerness as Black Honey, just with a little more of a berry flavor,” she said.
Another favorite was the Butter Gloss from NYX in the color Rocky Road.
While the color of the gloss wasn’t an exact match to Clinique’s, she explained that with the right technique it was pretty close.
“Apply a smaller amount to get a more sheer color similar to Black Honey. It leans a little more toward red,” she said.
For a glossier look, she opts for the Elf Pout Clout Lip Plumping Pen in the shade Wicked Cherry.
“[It] leaves a glossier finish than the other two and leans slightly more brown than Black Honey, but it’s still almost an exact copy,” she said.
Makeup fans thanked her for her recommendations and some named their favorites.
One Black Honey fan shared that she always opts for a drugstore product when she didn’t want to spend $25.
“I love the Covergirl tinted balm, but this one is amazing!” she said.
“That one’s awesome too, I should have included that!” the Redditor replied.
Ulta customers agreed with her choices and reviewers agreed with her suggestions.
“This lipstick has a weird fake smell, but it’s really pretty and similar to Clinique’s Black Honey,” someone said about the Elf Hydrating Core Lip Shine stick.
While some found the smell of the lipstick irritating, others felt it depended on one’s taste.
“The shade Ecstatic is a great imitation of Clinique Black Honey, and it looks so nice on you,” agreed another.
