‘This is so cute,’ shoppers cry as Rizzle Kicks star models carry Lidl ‘croissant bag’
LIDL’s new Croissant Bag took the internet by storm when it was announced last month.
The £50 clutch quickly sold out and Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens appears to be one of the lucky ones to get his hands on one.
The hip-hop artist was recently spotted carrying the most popular handbag of the year.
The accessory, which resembles a baked good, sold out within two minutes last week.
Jordan was spotted carrying the bag as he walked through London’s Greenwich district last Wednesday.
The accessory was designed by Nik Bentel, who is also the creator of the internet hit ‘Pasta Bag.’
Jordan joins the hordes of ‘Croissant Handbag’ superfans as the hip-hop duo returns.
One fan even took to social media to declare, “I would give my life for this.”
Another called the croissant bag “the most beautiful creation I have ever seen.”
Another follower excitedly said: “This is SO CUTE, what is this?”
A Twitter user shared a promotional photo of the bakery-themed Lidl bag.
“The Lidl croissant bag is not a wish, but a necessity,” she wrote with the photo.
And if you agree with this opinion, don’t worry, the bag is not completely out of reach yet.
Those eager to get their hands on one can head to a special event during London Fashion Week later this week.
Patisserie Lidl’s pop-up shows the inspiration behind the viral accessory.
And buyers who missed the first sale can now get their hands on one of our leather handbags.
The price of the bag remains £50 and sales are on a first come, first served basis.

The pop-up will also serve a range of Lidl baked goods, featuring an abundance of the handbag’s motto, the ‘All Butter Croissant’.
The event will take place at 55A Dean Street, London, W1D 6AG between 09:00 and 16:00 on Friday 13th September and Saturday 14th September.
Designer Nik Bentel previously talked about the inspiration behind his unique bags.
“I have always believed that design should transform the everyday into something memorable,” he explains.
“For our first collaboration in the UK, it was a natural choice to work with a brand like Lidl, known for its witty and humorous approach to customers.
“During the creative process we looked at how to combine Lidl’s cult bakery product with our love of celebrating the norm.
“This gave us the opportunity to think deeply and create something truly unique.”
