A woman from Sydney claimed that she was charged too much by hundreds of dollars for a greeting card when she was temporarily distracted by the counter of a newspapers.
The woman went to social media on Friday to say that she felt 'traumatized' after the store had passed the incorrect indictment.
She bought the card for $ 6.99, but was charged $ 596.69 on her credit card.
'The amount that is resolved to my credit card is not even close to the price of the greeting card. It is very difficult that that is a mistake, “she said.
She claimed when she was 'distracted' in her pin, the supervisor typed something in the register itself.
“The store did not turn the EFTPOS machine to witness the price charged.”
She said that as soon as she had noticed the enormous indictment on the receipt, she immediately pointed out that it was incorrect for the supervisor, but they 'refused to help'.
She claimed that she was '20 minutes in the store to ask for a refund', but the supervisor and another employee 'aggressive' shouted to her and spoke over the top of her.

'I had to call my friend to come to the store while I felt attacked. We were in the store for another 25 minutes to request a refund. '
The woman eventually called the police who visited the store.
“The owners came up with every excuse why they couldn't pay me back – they didn't know how, it didn't work, they had no cash and they refused to go to a cash machine to get cash,” she said.
'Finally, they agreed to pay back, but not the full amount [there was] A ticket allowance of $ 10, which would be much less if the correct price of $ 6.99 was used. '
To finish it all, the company said when refused to give the greeting card to her.
'I left the store after almost $ 600, had to go back for my money, pay $ 10 for a ticket costs, no greeting card and no apology.
“I would usually not submit a complaint unless I really felt that other people could be affected.”

The NSW police said they had not recorded the incident and that it was probably a civil case.
