Omroep Steve Price has taken a wipe at Kyle Sandilands in the midst of his scarry, but still offered some friendly words for a man he once called a 'buffoon'.
Sandilands revealed on Monday morning that he had a brain aneurysm and needed immediate brain surgery.
“On Friday I was told by my medical team, that sounds like I'm already very sick, that I have a brain aneurysm and it requires immediate attention, brain surgery,” said Sandilands.
“My doctor said if I hadn't checked it, I would have died.”
Price, an old rival of Sandilands, spoke to the situation at the New Stalk ZB radio station in New Zealand during his weekly news segment with Mike Hosking.
Although he criticized the radio presenter over the years for his controversial content, Price expressed his hope for the recovery of Sandilands.
“I really had a squat from this guy, because of his smutty content, in a number of newspaper columns I wrote and on television I called him a buffone,” said Price.
'Look, I hope it all works well from him. He is and has had a scan and now he must have a brain surgery because they have found an aneurysm in the brain.

“I hope the operation is successful and I hope he is doing well.”
Even in the midst of the fear of health, Price could not resist taking a shot at Sandilands when discussing the much hyped relocation of him and Jackie O to Melbourne's air waves.
“They judge number one in Sydney FM and more often than not in general number one,” he said Hosking.
“Last year they were blasted in Melbourne, very without success, about five percent.”
In April, Price was very critical about the first show of Sandilands the first Melbourne show.
