Television star Catriona Rowntree has unleashed a stabbing attack on a state government that would 'be ashamed' of plans to bury the picturesque countryside under a huge solar farm.
After earlier against the plans of the Victorian Labor government to build a huge battery farm next to her family property near Little River, Rowntree fights a proposal to cover land on the nearby Mount Rothwell under solar panels.
The stars of the outing and the Australia country house claims that the region southwest of Melbourne runs the risk of being destroyed in an Instagram video that will be shared on Monday.
“Welcome to beautiful Mount Rothwell in Little River,” she said in the video.
'This is actually the number one film location in Victoria. This has been the scene of so many incredible films and productions, which brings a fortune to the local government.
'This incredible area Vic Labor is now considering covering this entire area with a solar farm in its hurry for renewable energy sources.
“They are considering all these completely wrong locations.”
Rowntree also burned the planned lithium battery as a fire hazard.

In her Instagram, Rowntree argued for voters to turn their back on the state worker government
“They want to place a lithium facility in a fire zone,” Rowntree rumbled.

Rowntree started campaigning seven months ago against the projects after 'she had heard nothing' and that 'nobody will talk to us'.
In the Caption for the video, Rowntree said that she had no choice but to 'become political' and to argue for liberal candidate Steve Murphy in the upcoming Wriberbee State election.
“Did it come to this?” She wrote.
“Do I have to get it political to notice someone the region that wants to destroy Vic Labor?”

Rowntree also demanded answers in a direct plea for Prime Minister Jacinta Allan.
'Where are you?' she asked.
“Why do you want to ruin what is the number 1 film location in Victoria?”
“Why won't anyone of Victorian labor stop this?
Rowntree also insisted on Victorians not to vote with work 'who are clearly not aware of the stress they cause our community'.
“You should be ashamed,” she told the state government.

Last August, Rowntree started to campaign publicly against the proposed 770HA 350 MW/700MWH Lithium battery farm, which her Little River -House would neighbors between Geelong and Melbourne At the foot of your Yangs Regional Park.

“We have the detention center, the freight terminal, the combustionator, it's just ruthless,” she said.
