‘I’ve been waiting for this,’ shoppers shout as Primark launches classic film line
SHOPPERS are thrilled with Primark’s new Halloween collection, which is based on a cult classic.
As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, many of us can’t wait for the spooky season to begin, so we can curl up on the couch with a hot chocolate and watch our favorite Halloween movies.
And one of the most popular Halloween films of all time, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, is undoubtedly at the top of many people’s watch lists.
The 1993 film follows Jack Skellington, who discovers Christmas and attempts to bring the joy of the tradition to his own world, Halloween Town.
And for the real film fans: Primark has everything you need to get into the spooky mood while watching a film with its new collection.
A video of the new collection was shared on the official Primark TiKTok page, with the caption: “Get inspired by Halloween Town with our new Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas collection.”

The collection includes a cute Jack Skellington hot water bottle to keep you warm Nice and cozy during cold autumn nights.
The jug costs £10 and is available in store or via click and collect.
There’s also a spooky Stanley Cup style travel mug available for £10.
It functions a picture of Jack and Sally on the front, and will keep you hydrated during a movie marathon,
Other items in the collection include an oversized T-shirt with a Jack and Sally print for £10, a foldable backpack for £7 and a zip hoodie for £10.
Fans of the film can also get their hands on a Jack Skellington plush toy, a number of themed keychains and a make-up bag.
TikTok users have flooded the video’s comments section to express their love for the range.
Someone said, “I bought that hoodie last week and still haven’t taken it off.”
A second person said, “This is what I’ve been waiting for.”
The history of Primark
PRIMARK first opened its doors in Dublin in 1969 as Pennies, with the aim of providing affordable fashion in Ireland.
In 1974, a Primark store officially opened in Derby as Primark.
The retailer now has 193 stores in the UK and 441 stores globally, with a target of 530 stores by the end of 2026.

And the Nightmare Before Christmas series isn’t the only one Tim Burton collection that Primark fans have been enjoying lately.
To celebrate the launch of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Primark has launched a line inspired by the sequel to the classic 80s film.
Shoppers can get their hands on a pair of Victoria’s Secret-style pyjamas featuring Beetlejuice’s iconic black and white stripes for £22, adult T-shirts for a tenner and a cute monochrome checked children’s jumper for £12.
There are also hoodies, oversized snuddies, slippers for £8 and beanies for £4.
Fans of the cult film can even buy branded cups, water bottles, mugs, make-up bags, hair brushes and make-up sponges.
