Camila Cabello Buys Her Platinum Blonde Hair for $10 to ‘Eliminate Any Brassiness’
LIKE many women, Camila Cabello believes that changing her hairstyle shouldn’t just make a statement, but also signal a major change.
Her hairstylist said a $10 beauty purchase will keep the pop star’s latest platinum blonde hairdo healthy and shiny.
Camila explained on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast that she wanted a new look to boost her confidence.
“You know, I felt like I needed a big, physical change,” she said.
“I feel like, I don’t know, I’ve had my dark hair my whole life. It was a big part of how the public saw me, how the world saw me, and how I saw myself.”
However, the decision to go blonde did not come about spontaneously.

“I definitely think you should try wigs because it’s such a big change,” she said.
“But I think everyone should do it… it brings out a different part of your personality. It’s kind of like a YOLO.”
With the help of colorist Nikki Lee and hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, the pop star managed to create a light blonde hair color.
“We promised each other we could do it, but only if we kept her hair as healthy as possible,” Nikki Lee said in a statement.
“We gave her this color with three appointments.”
Nikki also revealed the key $10 product that keeps brassy tones at bay.
“We used L’Oreal Paris Féria Toner in Icy Blonde to easily add shine to her hair and remove the brassiness until she can come back to my salon,” she said.
“We absolutely love this change, it glows and it’s definitely a 2024 vibe!”
While Camila may be happy with her new look, she shares a video When she first saw her hairstyle, fans left comments claiming that the singer dyed her hair to imitate Sabrina Carpenter, who was in a relationship with her ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes.
Sabrina recently released her new album Short n’ Sweet, which features songs that many people talk about Mendes, including “Taste,” a song about a man who can’t choose between his ex and another girl.
“I heard you guys got back together, and if that’s true / Then you’ll just have to taste me when he kisses you / If you want forever, then I guess you do / Then know that you’ll taste me too,” Sabrina sings.
“I can’t stand to see my faves in a love triangle again. Can we please just blame the man?” said one commenter.
“Promoting this song with the blonde hair is a whole different story, and I’m all for it,” said another.
“This is INSANE timing and honestly… I totally support it,” said a third.
“Okay, fine, I would do the same.”
