The 50-year-old designer made black dresses her trademark in the mid-1990s, when the Spice Girls first appeared on screen.

Now she exchanges the dense fabrics for delicate lace.

She posed on Instagram in a floor-length dress and captioned the sexy photo ‘fittings’ as she showed off a matching lace bra and panties.

And where Posh leads, celebrities will follow, and a whole lot of A-listers who, just like her, are wannabes.

Earlier this year, the 43-year-old billionaire attended designer brand Balenciaga’s fall/winter fashion show in Paris.

Her vampiric dress covered her entire body, but left little to the imagination.

And of course she showed off her lingerie from her own brand, Skims.

Kim caused confusion among bystanders when they saw that she had left the dress’ label hanging out of the round design.

It was intentional, though.

Besides Balenciaga, other high-end fashion designers have also embraced the illusion fabric on the catwalk.

And other popular brands, such as Chloe, Simone Rocha and Valentino, are also fully represented in the lace collection this season.

But don’t worry.

If you don’t have the money to buy designer clothes, don’t worry, there are plenty of LLDs on the high street that can see you through the fall and festive season.

What are the most important a/w24 trends?

Blushing pink – From sugary pastels to dusty blush, pink is a lot more wearable this fall/winter.

Trench coats – While the trench coat is a timeless piece all year round, it’s now a safe classic rather than a statement piece.

New suit – The ‘quiet luxury’ trend has evolved into wearable workwear, and autumn/winter is full of cool ways to style suits – think relaxed blazers and wide-leg trousers, as well as the rise of more feminine skirt combinations.

Block black – Valentino set the trend with an all-black runway set, and monochrome clothing never really goes out of style.

70s boho – Chanel showed off shearling and Dior debuted double denim, the 70s are back. Look for chiffon blouses and flowing boho dresses that you can pair with a turtleneck, wear with over-the-knee boots and finish with a trench coat.

Leopard print – Whether you disagree with “leopard print is a neutral color or not,” it’s taking over this season with leopard print denim pants, mini skirts, maxi dresses and blouses. The print is versatile and fun.
