A minister today repeatedly avoided or an actress who gave Keir Starmer voice coaching during strict Covid -Lockdown was a 'key worker'.
The prime minister is determined that no rules were broken when Leonie Mellinger visited Labor -head office just before Christmas 2020.
A new book claims that the Labor leader, who was in opposition at the time, considered Leonie Mellinger as a 'key worker' because she helped him prepare a reaction to the Brexit deal of Boris Johnson.
But during a round of temporary employment interviews this morning, the health minister Karin Smyth appeared and said she was in the same category as Frontline Public Services such as NHS doctors and nurses.
Asked by Ed Balls on ITV's Good Morning Britain if Mrs. Mellinger counted, Mrs. Smyth replied: “This was part of working for presentations that the now Prime Minister had to make.”
Once again if the prime minister's voting coach was 'vital', the minister said: “My understanding … is that people were working for work -related reasons.”

The post of Leonie Mellinger on December 24, 2020 came at a time when large parts of Great Britain – including London – were under a complete Covid Lockdown
Mrs. Mellinger described how she was able to offer some remote coaching sessions during the pandemic
In a separate interview on GB News, Mrs. Smyth said: 'I think what we see again, is more muddy because of the tories about this issue at a time they were partying – and we have all the evidence of the regrettable story about it .
“Keir worked. Working was allowed at that time in Tier Four in London. '
Sir Keir was confronted with the problem last night while he was in Brussels for conversations with NATO boss Mark Rutte.
A reporter asked him: “Did you violate the lockdown rules, Prime Minister?”
Visibly irritated and shaking his head, Sir Keir replied: “Of course not.”
He did not respond when he was asked: “Are you convinced that your voting coach has followed all the rules?”
Printing “was your voting coach definitely a key worker?” He said, “All rules were followed.”
Mrs. Mellinger visited Labor HQ on Christmas Eve 2020. The book Get In Inside by journalists Patrick Maguire and Gabriel Pogrund, which will be selected in the Sunday Times and The Times, said Mrs. Mellinger Sir Keir on his speaking style.
It claims that she has qualified for the status of 'key workers' and visited the headquarters of the Labor with a face mask.
At the time, London and the Southeast were under Tier 4 restrictions, which meant that no households were allowed to mix.
Employees were told that 'everyone must work from home unless they cannot do this'.
Barrister Adam Wagner, who followed the Covid regulations, said that the status of limitations had been adopted for every police round. He suggested that the crucial question would have been whether it was 'reasonably necessary' for Sir Keir to have the session personally.
Despite her apparent 'important employee' status during the pandemic, it was revealed how Mrs. Mellinger was previously able to help Sir Keir at a distance.
The extracts of the book Detailed how – when Sir Keir stood home to hold a predetermined acceptance speech after he was elected Labor leader on April 4, 2020 – MS Mellinger coached him through an iPhone in his living room hearing piece.

In his letter, Tory MP Ric Holden said: “Do you think it would be good for other members of the public to get acting lessons during Tier 4 limitations?”
Earlier yesterday, NO10 repeatedly refused to say whether the Prime Minister Covid rules violated. A spokesperson for work said, “The rules were followed at all times.”
Tory Frontbencher Richard Holden accused Sir Keir of “Mashing the public and ignoring the law.”
He said: 'Sir Keir Starmer repeatedly claimed that he had followed all the rules and even promised to resign if he had broken.
“These revelations suggest that he misled the audience and ignored the law while people in our country made huge sacrifices.”
