The 76th Emmy Awards are coming up, which means your favorite shows could be up for an award this Sunday.
But wait a minute; you might be wondering why this is happening again. The Emmys were in January, but Hollywood strikes delayed the 2023 ceremony, so it aired this year. Nine months have passed, and the year’s best TV shows are about to get their flowers — again.
The rules for participating in the Emmys State programs must have premiered new episodes between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024. FX’s Shōgun and The Bear are the top contenders this year, with the samurai drama earning 25 nominations and the series starring Jeremy Allen White taking home a whopping 23 nominations, the most ever for a comedy series.
Father-son comedy duo Eugene and Dan Levy — who won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series for Schitt’s Creek in 2020 — will host. Here are more details on how to watch the big show.
How to Watch the 76th Emmy Awards
Ready for the biggest night on television? The 76th Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, September 15 at 8pm ET/5pm PT. It will also be streaming the next day on Hulu.
