Restaurant employees told MailOnline that the man who sat at the table was reportedly haunted by the building by the group, in a presumably 'domestic incident'.

“She brought Wagamama to Lockdown. I then looked outside and everyone ran away to the Battersea Power Station tube station.

'We then discovered that there had been an incident with these gang people … [who had] Stormed inside and this one person attacked. We were really shocked. '

The three attackers then flowed out the door and escaped in a car that was parked outside, according to the staff.

A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police told MailOnline: 'The police were called to report a fight between four people at a location in Battersea Power Station at about 8.30 pm on Monday 3 February.

“It seemed that they had focused on the man and the woman. The way the staff responded was heroic it was something else, especially when you consider that a knife was involved. '

The witness in Wagamama added: 'I have heard examples of gangs who go in restaurants to focus individuals, but never on this scale.

'It is a shopping area with crowds of people and families there, with many people who just try to have a good time. Seeing something like that was a bit of a horror. It ruined everyone's evening.

“Tashas is a very high-end restaurant … I can imagine that the customers who eat there are a pretty high-brow.”

Other horrible witnesses went to social media to describe what they have experienced.
