A woman has been stabbed to death and an emergency search has been launched for a man who fled the scene.
Emergency services were called to a house on the Great Western Highway in Kingswood, western Sydney, at 1.40pm on Monday.
A woman in her twenties was found with two stab wounds to her chest.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she died.
A 22-year-old man was seen running away.
The woman has not yet been officially identified.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
A crime scene has been established and detectives have launched an investigation.
