I am 63 and was going to have a baby with my 26 year old husband but our surrogate cheated on us
A couple with a large age gap gave their followers an update on their surrogacy.
Cheryl63, is married to Quran Mccain, 26, and the couple has been trying for a child for a year.
However, Cheryl is too old to conceive naturally, so the couple, eager to complete their family, turn to other methods.
The couple announced earlier this year that they would be choosing surrogacy and that after three failed attempts they had found a woman willing to carry the child.
The couple were expecting a girl, who is due to be born later this year on December 27.
“Our surrogate is in prison and now our baby gets a second chance at life,” Cheryl said.

Cheryl and Quran explained that their surrogate mother struggles with drug addiction, something they didn’t know when they asked her to carry their baby.
The Quran says: “It is not good that our baby is in this situation, because we were not prepared for the circumstances that came with the surrogate mother we chose.
“We take responsibility for that.”
Cheryl could not use her own eggs and the baby would therefore have been conceived using the surrogate mother’s egg and Koran’s sperm.
But the 63-year-old woman has given an update, saying the surrogacy isn’t going according to plan.
Cheryl says of TikTok: “People message me and want to know what’s going on.
“Well, the dates have been wrong from the start.”
Cheryl explained that the date of the baby’s conception was March 5, but according to the Quran, insemination did not take place until after March 12.
This made the couple assume that it was someone else’s baby.
“She was with her boyfriend and tried to tell us that they hadn’t had sex, and I tried to tell my husband that was wrong,” she said.
What is surrogacy?
Surrogacy is a form of pregnancy in which one woman carries and gives birth to another woman’s child.
The surrogate mother is then expected to give up the child at birth so that it can be raised by the couple who originally wanted the child.
Surrogacy is often an option for people who cannot have children of their own, or for same-sex couples.
According to a surrogacy charity Overcoming Childlessness Through Surrogacy (COTS)There are two different types of surrogacy.
- Traditional surrogacy: When the surrogate mother uses her own egg, fertilized with the sperm of the intended father.
- Surrogacy: The surrogate mother carries the genetic child of the intended parent, conceived through IVF. This requires specialized doctors.
How are surrogate mothers conceived?
In traditional surrogacy procedures, the egg is artificially inseminated using a syringe.
Surrogacy is performed through IVF.
In vitro fertilization involves retrieving the egg from the woman’s ovaries and fertilizing it with sperm in a laboratory.
The embryo is then placed in the surrogate mother’s uterus, where it can grow and develop.
This procedure must be performed by specialized doctors and it is necessary that the biological mother still has functioning ovaries.
“I got really tired of all the fuss and her saying the baby was his and using his feelings and stuff.”
Quran and Cheryl decided that the only thing they could do was have the surrogate take a DNA test. They paid for it and Cheryl agreed.
But when the day came, the deputy made “every excuse in the book not to come.”
“What does that tell us? That’s not our baby,” said a devastated Cheryl.
“My husband is not the father of the baby.
“I’m sorry to say this, but it’s been a blessing because this was a pretty messed up trip.”
The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @oliver6060 with more than 340,000 views and 15,000 likes.
People reacted with dismay to the comments because of the couple’s situation.
Someone wrote: “Oh Cheryl, I’m so sorry. This is truly heartbreaking.”
Another commented: “That baby is such a blessing!!”
“God bless you. You are doing the right thing. I agree with you Cheryl,” wrote a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth said: “I’m so sorry, that’s awful.”
“No words,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “I’m so sorry this happened, you’re still getting your baby!!”
