Unofficial render may show how the Galaxy S25 Ultra compares to the Galaxy S24 Ultra
When it comes to the best Samsung phones, our Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review tells us it’s one of the models that sits at the top of the list. Plus, recently leaked unofficial renders give us a better idea of what changes the 2025 model will bring.
A photo posted by a well-known tipster Ice Universe shows the Ultra version of the Samsung Galaxy S25 next to the equivalent Galaxy S24 model. Apparently, the new phone will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, thanks to tweaks to the metal frame.
We can also clearly see that the corners of the device are becoming more rounded, something that in previous leaksIt looks like the angular, blocky look is out and the curved, rounded look is in for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
If these changes do indeed come to fruition, the Ultra model would look a lot more like the standard and Plus models. However, there would still be several features to keep it distinct, including support for the S Pen stylus.

From what we’ve heard so far about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, it appears that the device will feature a more rounded frame from front to back, making the device feel more comfortable in the hand.
We’ve also seen leaked renders that match the new image above. While the design changes don’t look huge, the change in frame shape should make it easy to tell the difference between a Galaxy S24 Ultra and a Galaxy S25 Ultra.
There’s also talk that Samsung will reduce the bezels on the new model, meaning the display will be larger – potentially 6.86 inches from corner to corner, which would be a slight increase over the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 6.8-inch display.
Rumors of the Galaxy S25 Ultra continue to swirl, and we’re also expecting a processor boost and perhaps better battery life. If Samsung sticks to its 2024 schedule in 2025, the Galaxy S25 phones should launch in January.
