The most important Brexit negotiator of Sir Keir Starmer and a Top -EU officer today discussed 'concrete ways' to improve the relationship of Great Britain with the block.

Cabinet office Minister Nick Thomas-Symonds and the Handels Commissioner of the EU, Maros Sefcovic, met in Brussels in their continuous effort to forge closer ties.

It came after Mr Thomas-Symonds, who was commissioned by Sir Keir to lead his Brexit 'Reset', said he hoped to deliver an 'ambitious result' in just three months.

EU leaders will travel to the UK on 19 May for a top, in which Mr Thomas-Symonds suggested that they could close a deal to 'take advantage of all our citizens'.

Sir Keir traveled to Brussels this week to meet EU leaders themselves, while he wants to deepen the relationship between Great Britain after the Brexit with the block over defense and safety.

He also hopes to enter into a new veterinary pact, mutual recognition for professional qualifications and help for British artists throughout Europe.

Nevertheless, he was affected by the EU requirements for the UK to go back to post-Brexit fishing rights and a youth mobility scheme in exchange.

The latter would allow the thirty to live, work and study in the UK and vice versa, although Sir Keir has insisted that he does not allow the return of free movement.

This morning, Mr Thomas-Symonds greeted a 'productive' meeting with Mr. Sefcovic, in which they discussed 'our mutually coordinated interests and challenges'.

He added: “As we move forward to the UK-EU top in May, this government works to deliver the UK to make people safer, safer and more prosperous.”

Sefcovic said that he and Mr Thomas-Symonds had spoken about 'concrete ways' to improve the collaboration between UK-EU Copperation' in a meaningful, balanced way.

'I look forward to dealing with the areas of a mutual interest, while we ensure that our core agreements are fully applied. We keep regularly contact, “he added.

The meeting came on Wednesday after Mr Thomas-Symonds suggested that improving trade in the UK-EU would stimulate the ailing economies on the continent.

In a speech in Brussels on Tuesday, he promised a 'ruthless pragmatic' approach to stimulate cooperation between trade, defense and border security.

At the start of an intensive week of UK-EU diplomacy, Sir Keir Brussels visited for a dinner with the 27 leaders of the block.

A UK-EU top is planned for May 19, where the Prime Minister will organize the European Council Chairman Antonio Costa and the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Mr Thomas-Symonds said there was a lot, “we can deliver a balanced but ambitious result to take advantage of all our citizens at the coming top.

As part of the urge to strengthen ties, the EU has encouraged a new youth mobility schedule.

But this has been publicly resisted by the government, which is wary of everything that can be seen as allowing the return of free movement.

The red lines of Sir Keir in the negotiations do not include the internal market – for which a free movement of people – or the Customs Union would require.

Sefcovic has insisted that Brussels will 'remain fully respect for the boundaries that the VK has set, especially when it comes to economic cooperation' in the reset interviews.
