Jackery’s E2000v2 lets you keep your devices running during power outages
Jackery is one of the most prominent brands in the portable battery backup space. It features prominently on CNET’s list of best-tested portable power stations, ranking as best overall and best mid-range portable power stations, and coming in at the top for best solar generators.
The latest addition to Jackery’s lineup is the Jackery E2000v2, a solar backup generator that Jackery calls the most compact on the market. It’s a successor to Jackery’s 2000 model, with a 40% smaller footprint and a 34% reduction in weight. Despite its smaller size, it’s still capable of powering high-powered appliances like refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and pressure washers.
“The E2000v2 is the next generation of the 2000s at Jackery, delivering stable power when and where you need it most,” said Jack Sun, CEO of Jackery. “It’s the ideal generator for a multi-use situation, providing a sense of security for our customers — whether they’re preparing for an unexpected natural disaster or heading out on an adventure in the great outdoors.”
The E2000v2 has three AC outlets that support smaller devices such as routers, IP cameras, and desktop computers. It can also serve as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), taking over power in 20 milliseconds during a power outage to protect your expensive hardware.
There are 18W USB-A and 100W USZB-C ports for other smaller devices. The solar generator can be fully charged in 1.3 hours with Emergency Super Charge, and you can hook it up to compatible solar panels for off-grid power. Jackery says the E2000v2 should have a 10-year lifespan with daily use and is UL-certified for safety, shock, and fire resistance.
These features are becoming more commonplace in the industry overall, with offerings from EcoFlow, Bluetti, and others offering similar capabilities in their lineups. The Jackery E200v2 will be available on Amazon and directly from Jackery, with special Amazon Prime Day pricing and deals expected.
