Netflix releases the trailer for its new werewolf series Wolf King, but that’s not the only animated series I’m looking forward to
Netflix Geeked Week continues to announce some exciting new series and the latest one has me curious about Netflix’s take on the fantasy novels (original title) Weather world by Curtis Jobling when the new animated series Wolf King arrives. This is just one of the new animated series being offered, with Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance also on the way to the best streaming service.
Yesterday (Monday 16) Netflix also announced Castlevania: Night season 2 what does it mean Wolf King And Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance have competition in the race to be the best Netflix anime. Although a release date for Wolf King hasn’t been announced yet – we just know it’s coming “soon” – but there’s plenty to get excited about thanks to a first trailer that gives us a taste of the story and animation style.
Check out the short announcement trailer below. We don’t have a lot of information yet, or how closely the series will follow Curtis Jobling’s novels, but there’s enough to pique your interest.
Which animations are coming to Netflix?
Join Wolf Kinga coming-of-age story about Drew Ferran who discovers he is the latest in a long line of werewolves, is another animated film that has the potential to become one of the best Netflix series.
Netflix has the first four minutes of Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, a six-part sci-fi series set to hit the streamer on October 16. Interestingly, the six-part series follows the Red Wolves division of the military, so both shows focus on the animal in very different ways.
So far, we know that the series will be led by Australian actress Celia Massingham as protagonist Iria Sorari, but no further casting details have been posted yet. We expect that to change once the episodes are available on the platform.
We expect to see a lot more from Geeked Week in the coming days, so keep your eyes peeled to find out what else is coming.
