Lenovo to manufacture servers in India, opens R&D facility in Bengaluru | India News – Times of India

BENGALURU: Lenovo on Tuesday announced plans to manufacture artificial intelligence servers in India and opened a new R&D lab in Bengaluru. The company will begin manufacturing AI-enabled GPU servers at its existing facility in Puducherry, which has been operational since 2005. The production line has an annual production capacity of around 50,000 enterprise KI rack servers and 2,400 high-end GPU units. More than 60% of production is destined for export worldwide.
