Nat Barr has confronted Anthony Albanian with the plan of US President Donald Trump to change a 'Riviera' in the middle of Gaza.

Trump announced controversial plans last night to take over Gaza and to possess as a solution for the long-running Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The White House later ran back some comments from the president and said that Palestinians would be temporarily moved instead of permanently displaced and said that no decision had been made about sending American troops.

Albanian released on Thursday morning on Sunrise from Townsville, where he responded to the floods of the distant northern Queensland.

Barr asked him about Trump's announcement and asked if Australian troops could support an American operation in Gaza.

“The world is still responding to Donald Trump's plan to take over Gaza and turn the Riviera from the middle -east,” said Mrs. Barr.

'You said that you do not want to comment on US foreign policy, but let's take a look.

'Hamas is still a very serious presence in Gaza, they have the support of Hezbollah and Iran, the US says that we can put boots on the ground there.

Albanian appeared on Thursday morning at sunrise from Townsville, where he responded to the floods of the distant northern Queensland

“We are bound to the US, so we can be involved, can't we?” Mrs. Barr asked the prime minister

'We are bound by the US, so we can be involved, we can't? What is your comment? '

“No,” Mr. Albanese replied. 'Australia will make our own decisions, and our function is the same as when I woke up yesterday morning.

'We support a two-state solution in the Middle East, the right side of Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side.

“That has been the long -term two -part position, I know the coalition said the same yesterday, confirmed that that remained their position.”

Sunrise fellow presenter Matt Shirvington pushed further on the prime minister and asked: “If Donald Trump goes into a conflict in the Middle East, we will say no, we won't be part of it?”

“We make our own decisions as a sovereign nation and let's not go for ourselves here,” said Mr. Albanese.

Barr then asked if Mr. Albanian Trump had called after the announcement.

'If he makes such an announcement, frankly made the world, will you be on the phone to him? Because we are bound to America, right? And this is out of the box. '

Albanian replied: 'We have an important economic relationship, an important defense relationship, also through Aukus.

'We are concerned with matters that directly affect that relationship, and it is a constructive one. They are an important nation for us, and indeed, for the world. '

Albanian was also questioned about whether Trump's plans for Gaza would cause tensions here.

“One of the things that people don't want in Australia, our multicultural, harmonious country in which we have the great privilege of living in is that conflicts are brought here,” Albanian explained.

'So people of course have the right to express their opinion, and they will do that.

“People have different views on the middle, but that must be done peacefully and respectfully, and we should not bring a conflict here in a way that the unit that we have as a nation breaks apart.”

In the meantime, opposition leader Peter Dutton said that the billionaire, the subject of a popular memoir from 1987 from 1987: the art of the deal, was not president for the second time by being something different than smart. “

“I think a lot of people … are grip on it and he is a big thinker and a deal maker,” the opposition leader told Sydney Radio 2GB on Thursday.

'You have seen it in his business life, and the art of the deal is incredibly important to him that both parties of the deal contribute that no one takes each other.

“There is a desire for peace of every reasonable person and hopefully it can be achieved.”

Those who have rejected Mr. Trump's idea, “the reality of the gravitas he brings to the situation,” Mr Dutton said, adding that the president tried to force allies to contribute more to the reconstruction of the region .

“I don't think they are unreasonable expectations, but yes, I think it's about how you use the best possible outcome to offer that peace and stability,” he said.

Jewish groups in Australia have already rejected Mr Trump's first proposal to relocate the Palestinian inhabitants.

'The question of whether some Gazans choose to stay on the territory through this process, move or are permanently absorbed by neighboring states is ultimately a decision for the affected, especially the civilian population of Gaza,' executive council of the Australian President Daniel Daniel Said Aghion.

The Council of Australia/Israel and the Jewish Affairs said it was hopeful that the cycle of violence in the middle could be broken.

But it also expressed “strong concern about every hint that the US president suggests with violence evacuating of Gazanen.”

Mr. Trump repeated his previous call for Jordan, Egypt and other Arab states on Wednesday to take Gazans, and said that Palestinians had no alternative than to leave the strip there, and added that he would permanently support the re -location of Palestinians .
