Sony is celebrating 30 years of PlayStation consoles, and to celebrate, the company has announced the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, which includes PS5 consoles, DualSense controllers, PlayStation Portal, and more in a new design that pays homage to PlayStation’s early years. As part of the collection, the PS5 Pro and PS5 Digital Edition consoles come in a dark and light gray colorway, similar to the first PlayStation console that launched in 1994. The collection is available in limited quantities, with pre-orders starting on September 26.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection includes a number of console bundles and three separate purchase options, as outlined below:

PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
The PS5 Pro bundle includes the recently announced PlayStation 5 Pro in its 30th anniversary design with a gray color scheme and the original colored PlayStation logo. The bundle also includes a limited edition DualSense controller, a wireless DualSense Edge controller, a charging cradle, and a console disc drive cover. The disc drive is sold separately.
Other accessories include a vertical stand, an original PlayStation-style cable connector housing, four PlayStation-shaped cable ties, a PlayStation sticker, a limited-edition PlayStation poster (1 of 30 possible designs), and a PlayStation paperclip.
Sony is selling only 12,300 units of the PS5 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle, with limited edition numbers engraved on the console.

PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
The second bundle includes a PS5 Slim Digital Edition in the new design, along with a matching limited-edition DualSense wireless controller and a console disc drive cover. The bundle also includes all of the other limited-edition accessories found in the PS5 Pro bundle.
In addition to the two console bundles, players can also purchase the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition PlayStation Portal Remote, the DualSense Edge wireless controller, and a standard DualSense controller separately, all of which come in the retro gray design.

PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Release Date, Pre-Order Details
The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection launches on November 21, while pre-orders for the limited edition PS5 Pro bundle, PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge controller, and DualSense controller will begin on September 26 in regions where direct.playstation.com is available (US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria). In regions where PlayStation Direct is unavailable, these items can be pre-ordered from participating retailers starting on the same date.
Pre-orders for the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle will begin on October 10 at participating retailers, however. Sony has not yet announced pricing for the products in the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection.
