Actor Millie Bobby Brown may be one of the most recognizable faces of Gen Z. Yet, fans have noticed a curious change in the Stranger Things star’s image in recent weeks.
New photos Millie released to promote her fashion brand show the 20-year-old with noticeably fuller lips and voluminous cheeks.
Fans on social media reported that the Enola Holmes alumnus may have undergone cosmetic “editing.”
Some were complimentary, others thought the subtle changes made her ‘look 40’.
“Her face looks like it’s been weighed down with fillers,” said another.

“I feel so sorry for the societal pressure that pushes such young girls to do this,” read a third comment.
‘She looks so much older than she is, it feels like she’s depriving herself of a few stages in life.’
Now, cosmetic doctors have weighed in and revealed whether fans’ suspicions are justified.
‘Her cheekbones appear higher and her lips appear fuller, which could be the result of fillers,’ Dr Paul Banwell, an award-winning plastic and cosmetic surgeon, told MailOnline.
However, he added that the work she has had done is subtle and does not “burden” her, as some commentators on social media have suggested.
According to Dr Banwell, the star’s changed appearance could simply be the result of ‘natural ageing’.

‘Your bone structure and the shape of your face change as you age, especially when you’re so young, 12 years old.’
Dr Banwell warned Bobby Brown is at risk of ‘doing too much’ fillers.
“This could lead to a ‘pillow face’ or a frozen face, but I don’t think that’s the real purpose of adjustments.”
Dr Banwell added: ‘Fillers are a popular way for people to rejuvenate their skin and make their face appear fuller. When used correctly, they can create a more youthful, fuller appearance.
‘As we age, we naturally lose collagen and fat in our face, leading to a less full, sagging appearance. This loss of volume can lead to a less youthful appearance.
‘The most popular facial treatments are fillers and Botox, as they are more accessible and provide almost immediate results if performed correctly.’
Last year, Millie also sparked rumours of a nose job after appearing on the red carpet.
But at the time, plastic surgeons agreed that she should not have had the surgery.

Dr. Richard Reish, a New York-based award-winning plastics specialist surgeon told his 18,000 TikTok followers: ‘As for her nose, she has a relatively straight back. It’s very nice and smooth.
‘She has some irregularities in the nostrils, with a slight retraction of the nostrils right at the soft triangle of the tip of the nose.
‘She also suffers from a hanging columella.
“But she is beautiful and has a lovely appearance overall.”
Millie Bobby Brown, who came into the spotlight at the age of 12 thanks to her role in the Netflix hit Stranger Things, previously spoke out about her insecurities to Glamour magazine.
“I feel awful today,” she told the publication in 2023. “I have a huge pimple on my face.
“And I’m going to look on Instagram, and I’m going to see five different girls who look beautiful, perfect, stunning, and, okay, amazing.”
She added that she would probably end up “crying” because “she knew she didn’t look like that.”
She said she felt in retrospect that the public scrutiny had “mentally eroded” her and “stunted her growth.”
“You can’t talk about minors,” the actress said. “I mean, our brains aren’t physically fully developed yet.
“To stunt and hinder someone’s spiritual growth, to undress them and say, ‘Hey, listen, you don’t look that great,’ or ‘Why are you wearing that?’ or ‘How dare you think you can wear that?’ or ‘How dare you say that?’”
